V. C. Cheney has been a Messianic Jewish believer since age 19.
She became an ordained minister under the Full Gospel Fellowship of Churches and Ministers in 2011.
She teaches Torah to passionate Bible students and is the author of Torah Study: His Story.
She founded Signs & Wonders, a ministry blog in 2010.
V. C. Cheney is also talented pyrography (wood-burning) artist, acrylic painter, and Judaica illustrator.
Her artwork has appeared on Switched at Birth, an American teen drama television series on the ABC Family network.
When she is not busy being a helpmate to her husband, she teaches Bible studies to Deaf groups.
Other times, she nurtures her passion for writing.
She kicks off her shoes, drinks her favorite herbal tea, opens her laptop,
and transforms into a raconteur who weaves Biblical truths into epic fantasy tales.
She grew up in a Jewish family of storytellers and has a fascination with Jewish parables.
Her vision is to write new parables with a modern literature slant to bring people closer
to Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah).
She lives in Sarasota, Florida with her husband and has two grown children.
Under the Purple Sky is V. C. Cheney's debut novel.
In the works is a prequel, Under the Halo: A Collection of Short Stories.
